Fran and some members of the Platt lab participated in the Gordon Research Conference on Lysosomal Diseases in Il Ciocco in Italy.
James, Doris and Mylene were also part of the Gordon Research Seminars with James giving a talk on his research and Doris and Mylene being Discussion Leaders for two of the sessions. During the GRC, Fran gave a talk about ‘Pathogenic Mechanisms in Niemann-Pick Type C Disease’. Besides fascinating talks and inspiring chats with co-workers, we were able to bathe in the sun, enjoy the view and indulge in the Italian food during the conference.
