Exploring Molecular and Systemic Mechanisms in Niemann-Pick Disease Type C
Reuben’s research, under the joint supervision of Prof. Simon Newstead and Prof. Fran Platt, is supported by the Wellcome Trust and focuses on exploring molecular and systemic mechanisms in Niemann-Pick Disease Type C. He employs computational and multiomic approaches to better understand the disease, integrating large-scale data analysis with structural and functional insights. This work aims to elucidate key pathways involved in NPC pathology and identify potential therapeutic targets to inform future treatment strategies.
